National round of International Erasmus Games was held in the sports center of Charles University in Prague-Hostivař on Saturday, 5.3.2016. ESN Pardubice players showed up in excellent light.
The first sport on the program was a volleyball, our team won all the matches in the group, but then lost 2:0 in sets in the semifinals. Further, in basketball our team was forced to resign immediately in the first match due to injury. We were the most successful in futsal. Pardubice team got back smoothly into the semifinals, where an adversary became equal opponent. One minute before the end, we were losing 0:1, but thanks to the heroic performance in the end our team equalized to 1:1 and in overtime shot the deciding goal. In it, they met two great rivals and after an inconclusive result 0:0 had to decide a penalty shoot out. Thanks to the great goalkeeper, ESN Pardubice team won and can look forward to a grand finale of International Erasmus Games in Milan, which will be held between 5th and 8th May.
