On Saturday, 2nd April 2016, international students from the University of Pardubice accompanied by their buddies went on a two day trip to the Krokonoše mountains (the Giant).

On the way to the mountains, five students from the University of Hradec Kralove joined the trip thanks to cooperation with ESN Buddy System Hradec Kralove. The journey went smoothly, trippers arrived to Pec pod Sněžkou about half past nine. After lunch, program of the trip started.

All participants were divided into two groups. The first group went skiing and the second group went on a trip around Pec. The trip was very nice and everyone really enjoyed it. Students enjoyed the hiking with snowballs.

After the trip students went resting for a while. About seven o'clock the ones who were not yet completely "dead," went to try an indoor climbing wall. The wall was followed by dinner, and then a free time. Anyone who wanted could go at ten o'clock at the party, which was in the same room as the climbing wall.

After Sunday breakfast, everyone went to climb to Snezka – the highest peak of the Czech Republic. After the students arrived at the cable car, they were divided into two groups again. Some of them went way to the top on foot, some used a cable car to reach Ruzova Hora and then hiked on the peak. Both groups reached Sněžka at the same time, probably about an one hour in the afternoon. Subsequently, participants admire a view of the surrounding beauty, they took some pictures and a half of the third went the direction of Růžova Hora, and then to Pec pod Snezkou by cable car. Those tired again took advantage of the cable car in its entire route.

Upon arrival at the hostel followed by packaging and after five o'clock in the afternoon departure back to Hradec Králové and Pardubice.
